Description

Starlings Rest Vacation Home is located on a hillside overlooking the northern Alexander Valley in Sonoma County Wine Country. In the summer, the bridge over the Russian River is open in Asti, making the drive from Healdsburg or Geyserville only 15 minutes. Located nearby are wineries, restaurants, the Russian River, Lake Sonoma, and Anderson Valley famous for their apples and more recently, their wineries. Guests drive through a stone pillar gate and a few hundred feet up the hillside to Starlings Rest. A large front deck furnished with tables and chairs accents the front of the home. Vineyard and valley views are enjoyed from this vantage.  Double french doors exit to the back deck, hot tub, and in-ground solar-heated swimming pool closed from November – April. In the late fall and winter months, thousands of starlings swirl and rest in the trees above. Deer, quail, and rabbits also live near and visit the hillside. A 7-person hot tub and quality outdoor furniture are provided.
