Built in 1963 in the heyday of the American motor lodge, The Astro was ambitiously remodeled into a 34-room urban motel in 2017, with original mid-century modern furnishings and art pieces, a lush edible garden, and a passion for sustainability.
Santa Rosa is the ideal hub for intrepid cyclists. The Astro is a haven for bike enthusiasts. We have an on-site bike repair station, a secure bicycle storage area, and even racks so guests can take their own gear to the room. Our staff is equipped to assist with basic repairs, and we offer Shinola Bikes for rent to our guests.
Our room inventory consists predominantly of units with one queen, some with two queens, and a few king suites with a kitchen.
