Description

The Spa at Dawn Ranch is a serene wellness sanctuary nestled within a historic 22-acre estate in Guerneville, California. Surrounded by towering redwoods and the tranquil Russian River, this spa offers a harmonious blend of nature-inspired treatments and thoughtfully designed facilities, creating a restorative experience for both resort guests and day visitors.

Facilities & Ambiance
Housed in a classic California-style bungalow—formerly the estate’s owner’s residence—the spa retains its original pine-paneled interiors and red brick fireplace, evoking a warm, inviting atmosphere. The reception area features a coffered skylight ceiling clad in hand-woven grass cloth and honed marble flooring, inspired by European solariums and ancient public baths.

Outdoor amenities include four handcrafted Japanese Ofuro-style redwood soaking tubs, a mahogany infrared sauna with a glass ceiling, and thermostatic outdoor showers, all set within a tranquil garden deck. Inside, guests can unwind in the zellige-tiled steam room or one of three treatment rooms, including a couples’ suite.

Treatments & Wellness Offerings
The spa’s menu emphasizes botanical and holistic therapies that draw inspiration from the surrounding Russian River Valley. Signature treatments include:

Forest Bathing Body Scrubs
Manuka Honey Moisture Body Therapy
Peppermint Arm & Hand Tension Relief
Wild Lime Scalp Treatments
Sound Bowl Healing

Facial treatments focus on rejuvenation, incorporating aromatherapy, exfoliation, facial massage, and deep masking techniques to leave the skin radiant and revitalized.

Complementing these services are daily wellness activities such as yoga, meditation, sound baths, and intention-setting ceremonies, often held in the spa’s meditation garden. This garden, adorned with water features and offering specialty teas, provides a peaceful retreat for mindfulness and relaxation.
