  • Here at Emeritus Vineyards, we focus on expressing the unique character of our vineyards through sustainable farming practices. We’re one of the first and largest dry-farmed estates in Sonoma County, which allows our vines to establish a natural balance of root mass, foliage, and fruit, and the grapes to achieve full ripeness without excessive sugars or extracted flavors. We’re family owned, and have been since our founding in 2009.

The Emeritus winery and tasting room, with dog-friendly patio, is located in Russian River Valley and open for tastings daily, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tasting appointments are recommended, but are only required for groups larger than 6. Please allow 45 minutes for your seated tasting, as you will explore our single vineyard estate-bottled Pinot Noirs and learn about the Emeritus Philosophy. ($25/person, waived with club sign-up or six bottle purchase. Complimentary to E-Club members.)

Tours (voted #1 Winery Tour by USA Today's 10 Best!) are offered Thursday through Monday and do require a prior appointment. We guide you through the vines of Hallberg Ranch and our winery for an in-depth look at what goes into making Emeritus Pinot Noir, and conclude with a tasting. Please allow 90 minutes for a tour and tasting. ($40/person, waived with club sign-up. Complimentary to E-Club members.)
