Our original founders, José and Gloria Ferrer, pioneered a new path of excellence from Spain to Sonoma back in 1982, arriving on our captivating cool-climate estate and founding the first sparkling winery in Carneros.
Our wines are a direct reflection of our two unique estates – nestled at the base of the Sonoma Mountains and Wildcat Peak, respectively – which protect us from the strongest Carneros breezes and supply alluvial soils that nourish our Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines. Our terroir is exceptional and distinctive – it’s defined by the bay breeze, the soft hillside air, the bright sunshine, and the cooling fog. The result is more than a flavor, it’s a feeling.
