  • Located along the Olivet Wine Road in the Russian River Valley, Harvest Moon Estate & Winery offers a personal and engaging wine country experience. Stop in our tasting room and talk wine with our knowledgeable and friendly staff and be greeted by our dogs, Luna and Ruby. From August through October you can sit and sip on our patio and crush pad and witness firsthand how we craft our grapes into wine. Our daily pouring selections range from a very dry refreshing Gewürztraminer to elegant Pinot Noirs to different vintages of Zinfandel. We also make two dessert wines—Estate Late Harvest Zinfandel and Ice-style Gewürztraminer.

$15 tasting fee, waived with $30 wine purchase. We usually have 5-8 wines open of our current releases, which you can only taste at the winery. We do not distribute. We pair our Late Harvest Zinfandel with chocolate. On weekends we have a tasting flight of our sparkling wines. Tasting fee is $20 and is not waived with a bottle purchase. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    • Best of the three wineries we went to

All the wines were good to excallent. The Gewurztraminer may have been the best but you wouldn't be disappointed with any of the 6 or 7 wines we tried. We had lunch there after the wine tasting.
