At Inman Family Wines we practice sensitive farming and natural winemaking, growing grapes and making wine in Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley.
The alchemy of the elements created our beautiful and unique estate vineyard, Olivet Grange. Winemaker Kathleen Inman brings a "sixth sense" to the creation of unique blends, elegant to the palate.
Located at the junction of Olivet and Piner Road, the tasting room is open Thursday - Monday from 11am-4pm for wine sales. We have recently moved to appointments only for wine tastings to ensure all of our guests have a personalized tasting experience. Tasting appointments are available Thursday - Monday at 11:00am, 12:30pm and 2:00pm. The fee of $20 per person is waived with a minimum purchase of $100 per person. A private tasting and vineyard tour with winemaker and owner Kathleen Inman is also available by appointment subject to Mrs. Inman's availability. Meet the Maker fees are $50 per person and are also waived with a minimum purchase of $150. Please, no outside food.
Make your reservation here, or call us at (707) 293-9576.
For visitors with electric vehicles, we have Sonoma County's first privately owned public charging station! Drawing from the electricity produced by our solar panels, visitors fill-up their vehicles on sunshine while tasting our Russian River Valley wines. This service is free of charge.
When you visit Inman Family, you will have a superior experience, of light and reverence, of soil and soul, present in the natural landscape.
Inman Family uses natural solutions to natural problems. We plant cover crops between rows of vines. Cover crops return nutrients to the soil, improve soil structure, prevent erosion and provide habitat for beneficial insects. Predators like hawks and owls (who prey on the rodents) and bluebirds (who feed on the insects) set up housekeeping above the grape rows. You’ll see their perches and houses if you look closely when you visit.
You will taste character and simple elegance in the way the aromas of the land infuse the grapes. Every glass tells a story; it is the story of the resonant beauty that abounds.
