This family winery is located in the heart of Sonoma Valley, a short one-hour drive north of San Francisco. Emerging like a gothic blast from the past out of acres of rolling vineyards and pastoral calm, the 16,000 square foot French Normandy winery is known as "The Castle" around the world. This architectural showpiece, designed and built by Steve Ledson, is a must-see for all. Ledson specializes in small varietal lots that reflect the genuine diversity of their select vineyards and appellations. The Gourmet Marketplace offers local and unique cheeses, meats, fresh sandwiches, salads and treats to create the perfect picnic lunch you can enjoy in the majestic Oak Grove. Wines are only available at the winery, through the wine club, or online at ledson.com. General tasting: $20 or $30 plus tax. Tasting fees are waived for Wine Club members. For groups with more than 6 people a reservation is required. Private Wine Tasting: $75 plus tax. Reservations are required. Private tastings are conducted in your own tasting suite by one of our knowledgeable wine consultants. Ledson wines are sold exclusively at the winery, through the wine club, or online. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
