These Local Distilleries Ship Cocktail Kits to Your Doorstep

If you’re still hunkering down at home this season, or are looking for safe ways to spread a little holiday cheer, a growing list of Sonoma County distilleries are mixing up some of their best drinks and delivering them right to the doorstep. Kits contain everything you—or the lucky recipient —need to mix delicious drinks at home.

Young & Yonder

Healdsburg’s Young & Yonder shakes things up regularly for their cocktail-loving crowd with a “Cocktail of the Month Kit,” each of which makes four cocktails and is priced at $55 plus shipping. 

You can also order kits for Young & Yonder’s take on some of your favorite classic cocktails. The Bourbon Old Fashioned Kit includes Bourbon, Flora Luna Apothecary & Trading Co. Honey Aromatic Bitters and Old Fashioned Syrup, along with a Young & Yonder Spirits logo rocks glass. The kit makes 12 cocktails and costs $80. 

Young & Yonder’s Lime Vodka Mule Cocktail Kit boasts lime flavored vodka, Fever-Tree Ginger Beer, Sonoma Syrup Co. White Ginger Infused Simple Syrup, and logo rocks glass. The kit makes four cocktails (with lime vodka to spare) and costs $50.

The H.O.B.S. Gin Modern G&T features Young & Yonder Spirits H.O.B.S. Gin, Fever-Tree Tonic Water, King Floyd’s Cardamon Bitters, and logo rocks glass. The kit makes four cocktails (with some gin to spare) and costs $60. 449 Allan Court, Healdsburg, (707) 473-8077

Griffo Distillery

Petaluma’s Griffo Distillery is offering more than a dozen cocktail kits for purchase on its website. The Smoked Honey Whiskey Sour Cocktail Kit (pictured here) is a variation of the classic whiskey sour. It makes about 12 cocktails. $86.40 plus shipping. 

The Winter’s Remedy Old Fashioned Cocktail Kit includes Griffo Stony Point Whiskey, Bittermilk #1 Bourbon Barrel Aged Old Fashioned Syrup, Dashfire’s Chaiwalla Bitters, Eggbert’s Premium Cocktail Cherries, and orange peel garnish. $99 plus shipping.

Spirit Works Distillery

Sebastopol’s Spirit Works Distillery scores bonus points for cocktail kits with fun names like The Naked Ape, Rhythm & Booze, Crystal Healing, and Lux Rider (pictured). 

All ingredients in The Local (Floral) Gin and Tonic Kit from Spirit Works Distillery come from Bay Area companies. Hanson of Sonoma Distillery

Hanson of Sonoma Distillery is taking the guesswork out of mixology by offering both cocktail kits and pre-batched cocktails like the (pictured) Mandarin Greyhound. $30 plus shipping. 

Along with a bottle of Hanson of Sonoma Vodka, the DIY Bloody Mary Cocktail Kit comes with Sonoma Gourmet Organic Bloody Mary Mix. $50 plus shipping.

If you’re more of a spirits purist, Sonoma Distilling Company is offering a Sonoma Whiskey Tasting Kit. The set includes 200ml bottles of four types of whiskey: Sonoma Bourbon, Sonoma Rye Whiskey, Sonoma Cherrywood Rye Whiskey, and Sonoma Cherrywood Smoked Bourbon. $59.99 plus shipping. 

There’s some extra goodies in the Sonoma Whiskey Tasting Kit like tasting cards, sample grains, and a Sonoma Distilling Company logo tasting glass.
