Sonoma County's fine dining options take a romantic turn with special menus offered for a memorable Valentine's Day.

The Coast Kitchen at Timber Cove Resort in Jenner has a special five-course menu and guests can choose to enhance the meal with wine pairings. Chef Francesco Torre has created a heartfelt dinner menu with an optional Tuscan wine pairing at Canneti Roadhouse Italiana in Forestville. Geyserville Grille has a speical four-course Valentine's Day dinner complete with a complimentary sparkling toast. At scenic Notre Vue Estate Winery, couples can enjoy a night out on Friday, Feb. 15. Many Sonoma County wineries are offering very special pairings and more.

Love is in the air at Ferrari-Carano Vineyards, Feb. 14-17. You won't want to miss the scrumptious wine and food pairing at Ferrari-Carano Vineyards in Dry Creek Valley and their Seasons of the Vineyard Wine Shop in Healdsburg. Three delicous wines perfectly paired with special food bites will stimulate your senses and tease your palate. No reservations are required.

The Family Wineries Dry Creek collective will be pouring their fine wines and sharing a wild mushroom bisque and a chocolate truffle on Feb. 16 and 17. Savor Glenn's special recipe that he has been preparing for six years now, using a selection of Wild Mushrooms and a vegetable stock puree.

Chef Deirdre and winemaker Dan have prepared a six-course wine and food pairing menu to enjoy at Simoncini Vineyards on Feb. 16. Each course is paired with one of Simoncini's hand crafted, small production wines.

For a unique romantic treat, visit the Ranch House at Benovia Winery, Feb. 14-17, for a wine and chocolate tasting and you will also receive an original keepsake poem and roses.
