Inaugural Design Healdsburg

From the organizers of the annual San Francisco Design Week, the debut of DESIGN HEALDSBURG marks the first annual design celebration of leading designers, architects, and creative practitioners based in the Healdsburg region of northern California. The best of wine country design will be explored by the SF Bay Area's top creative experts who will lead a two-day program of talks and tours of creative businesses in Healdsburg.

Highlights: FLOWERS WINERY SEMINAR-a celebration of fine wine, architecture, landscape, ideas and information. A seminar, presenting FLOWERS WINERY, the architecture, landscape design, interior design-and the wine. FLOWERS WINERY presents a one-hour formal wine-tasting with charcuterie of a flight of FLOWERS limited production, award-winning wines.

HOSPITALITY TOUR: Hotel Healdsburg, Harmon House, H2 Hotel Community-Based Hospitality Tour with Circe Sher of Piazza Hospitality and David Baker and Brett Randall Jones of David Baker.

BARNDIVA TOUR: Three-time Michelin Star recipient, co-owner Jil Hales leads a tour of the restaurant, studio and gardens with samplings of their famous cuisine and cocktails. Tour will include insight from architect Alan B. Cohen and wire sculpture designer Jordan Morgan.

FIRESIDE CHAT with James Munden, partner at MFLA Munden Fry Landscape Associates about the state of Landscape Design in northern California adapting to the Climate Crisis: Wildfires, droughts, and a connection to the land at CraftWork.

GALLERY LULO: open house featuring new work in contemporary art jewelry, fine art, and design with a focus on SF Bay Area artists.

SkLO OPENING NIGHT RECEPTION: Featuring new work in handcrafted glass lighting & objects, designed in northern California and handcrafted in the Czech Republic.
