Jack London Reading and Fireside Chat

In his book “Jack London-An American Life,” Earle Labor explains, “For more than one hundred years, ‘To Build a Fire’ has been universally acclaimed as a superb model of literary naturalism and the author created his chilling classic while basking in Hawaii’s halcyon breezes. If read before, perhaps in school, few readers will have forgotten this masterpiece based on London’s personal experience in the Klondike.”

Join Jeff Falconer as he reads the story out loud in the warmth of the House of Happy Walls, followed by a fireside chat to allow everyone to discuss the story.
