Renewed in Nature: A Women’s Wellness Day
A transformative women's wellness event set against the beautiful backdrop of Jack London State Historic Park, this special day is designed for women to reconnect with the natural world and with one another, all while embracing the rejuvenating power of nature.
A guided walk to the Ancient Redwood will lead through the parks enchanting paths, offering moments for reflection and connection. Experience practices like forest bathing, meditation, and gentle yoga, all tailored to help you unwind and center yourself.
This slow-paced hike of approximately 3.5 miles roundtrip will follow serene trails through majestic redwoods, allowing the forest to refresh the spirit. Light refreshments that complement the day's theme will be provided.
Joyce Mikal-Flynn, professor at CSUS California State University-Sonoma and author of Anatomy of a Survivor, will help guide a discussion of wellness, resilience, and the healing power of time spent in nature.
