Distinguished Leadership Award

Keo Hornbostel Headshot Keo Hornbostel

For 21 years Keo Hornbostel served as a trusted leader, mentor and thought leader on the SCT Board of Directors. He brought industry expertise, sound financial guidance, commitment and passion for Sonoma County and the tourism industry to both the SCT Board and the positions he held at organizations and civic boards within the region.
Deeply rooted in the community, Keo consistently supported local businesses and residents throughout his career. The Sonoma County Tourism team is sincerely grateful for his enormous contributions to the board and the organization.

2026 Accredited Hospitality Professional (AHP) Champion

Itze Monserrat Peña-Andrade, Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART)

Each year, we recognize an individual that is committed to the AHP program, it's growth and shared experiences, but also how the honoree continues to grow and develop as a leader in the hospitality industry, continually encouraging others to share the best of themselves with visitors to Sonoma County.

This year we are pleased to recognize Monse Andrade with the AHP Champion Award. Monse is an MBA graduate and business professional with a strong background in hospitality, marketing, wine business, and community outreach.

Dedicated to bringing people together, she has built her career around creating meaningful experiences, strengthening relationships, and connecting communities through thoughtful communication and engagement.

She currently serves as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator in the Outreach Department for Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART). Prior to SMART, she spent more than 15 years with Korbel Champagne Cellars, where she advanced through multiple roles in hospitality, event management, community marketing, and operations.

Known for her collaborative spirit and people-first approach, she is passionate about supporting Sonoma County’s hospitality and tourism community while creating welcoming, memorable experiences for others and helping educate and engage audiences along the way.

2026 AHP Future Hospitality Leader Award

Link Bunker headshotLink Bunker, Rancho Cotate High School

Each year, the AHP (Accredited Hospitality Professional) program recognizes an emerging leader who exemplifies passion, curiosity, and a commitment to the future of Sonoma County’s hospitality industry. Since its launch in 2021, the AHP program has expanded beyond industry professionals and into local high schools, where it has been integrated into hospitality and culinary pathways, entrepreneurship courses, recreation programs, and more. Through these experiences, students are introduced to the wide range of opportunities available within tourism and hospitality, often discovering career paths they had never previously considered.

It is with great pleasure that we recognize the first recipient of the 2026 AHP Future Hospitality Leader Award, Link Bunker, from Rancho Cotate High School.

Through participation in the Hospitality, Recreation, and Tourism CTE pathway, Link discovered his passion for creating meaningful guest experiences and building personal connections through hospitality. Over the last three years, the program has helped shape both personal and professional growth while providing valuable industry knowledge and hands-on experience.

Eager to gain real-world experience, Link secured an internship at Hotel Healdsburg, where he spent three months rotating through multiple departments and learning the day-to-day operations of a luxury hotel. From guest services to behind-the-scenes operations, the experience reinforced a passion for hospitality and a desire to create memorable experiences for visitors.

With a strong sense of purpose and an enthusiasm for serving others, this future hospitality leader represents the next generation of professionals who will help shape Sonoma County’s tourism industry for years to come.
