  • Nestled in the southern foothills of Sonoma, the vineyards of Nicholson Ranch are planted in one of the world’s most prized grape-growing regions. We are located at the intersection of Napa and Sonoma where four of California’s best appellations meet. Nicholson Ranch enjoys a combination of soils, sloping hills and climate that is ideal for producing premium grapes for our handcrafted Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Syrah. Our grapes are grown naturally and sustainably. All our wines are made from grapes grown on our 40 acre Estate, fermented in small batches and aged for as long as three years in French oak barrels. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Vintner’s Tasting is hosted in our architecturally stunning Tasting Room with a 40-foot high ceiling and a 20 foot picture window that frames spectacular views of our hillsides. You will taste four Estate wines from our Sonoma Valley and Sonoma Coast appellations. $20 per person (max 6 guests). Reservations not required. We also offer other experiences by appointment. Please see our website for details.

    • Nice tour around the vineyard

Our hostess brought us around the chardonnay field under the hot sun and she was indeed pleasant. The wine that we were tasting were ok. I am sure there will be people who are avid fans of these.
