The Korbel Winery was established by Bohemia-born Francis Korbel and his brothers, Joseph and Anton, in 1882 and is the oldest continually operating champagne house in North America.

  • The Korbel Winery was established by Bohemia-born Francis Korbel and his brothers, Joseph and Anton, in 1882 and is the oldest continually operating champagne house in North America. Nestled in California's Russian River Valley, Korbel has always followed the time-honored methode champenoise tradition, and continues to build upon its legacy of innovation and quality.

    Hours:
    Summer/Fall (Apr 1 - Oct 31) - Tasting Room is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., except for major holidays.
    Winter/Spring (Nov 1 - Mar 31) - Tasting Room is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except for major holidays.

    Please join us for a complimentary tasting of up to four of Korbel's finest champagne and wine products. Or conduct your own food and wine pairing at our gourmet deli! The knowledgeable staff will guide you in choosing the perfect champagne to pair with your meal.

    Winery Tours
    Summer/Fall (Apr 1-Oct 31): Complimentary winery tours are offered Mon-Fri at 11:00, 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, and 3:45, and Sat-Sun at 11:00, 12:00, 12:45, 1:30, 2:15, 3:00, and 3:45.

    Winter/Spring (Nov 1-Mar 31): Complimentary winery tours are offered seven days per week at 11:00, 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00.

    Complimentary garden tours are offered Tues-Sun at 1:00 and 3:00, from mid-April to mid-October. The garden is closed from mid-October to mid-April. Please inquire for exact dates.

    For a more personalized experience, or for those celebrating a special occasion, we also offer private tours and tastings led by a dedicated tour guide. Our private tours and tastings require a reservation made a minimum of 10 days in advance and with a minimum of 10 guests in the party, and are based upon availability. Parties of 20 or more who wish to visit Korbel must have a paid reservation. All private reservations are treated to a 15% discount on KORBEL products*. The cost is $20/pp.
